background: The sisters reportedly had some disagreements with AMF (their primary benefactor to the tune of at least $20,000,000 through 2005) regarding future funding from AMF. Some say a lawsuit was threatened against AMF - I don't know the details. What I do know is that the sisters have rconciled with the AMF and are even staffing its new grammar and prep school in Ave Maria, Florida.
